Orders
Prices quoted are F.O.B. point of shipment, with transportation charges extra, unless otherwise stipulated.
Shipping
We do not ship orders to PO boxes and rural route addresses. In order to receive the order, please include a physical street or highway address. Please note that when the order is delivered, a signature is mandatory to finalize the delivery.
Investments Hardware Ltd. is not responsible for broken driveways or sidewalk or other building components if delivery is made beyond curb line on premises, at the direction of the customer.
Rates
Rates for Deliveries on Investments Hardware Ltd. Trucks:
$50 Flat Rate. All deliveries falling within the following geographical area will be charged a $50 flat freight rate for every order placed.
Aurora, Bolton, Brampton, Concord, Etobicoke, King City, Markham, Mississauga, New Market, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Toronto and Vaughan.
$80 Flat Rate. All deliveries falling within the following geographical area will be charged an $80 flat freight rate for every order placed.
Ajax, Bradford, Brooklin, Oshawa, Pickering, Stouffville, Whitby, Milton and Oakville.
$100.00 Flat Rate. All deliveries falling within the following geographical area will be charged $100 flat freight rate for every order placed.
Barrie, Brantford, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener and Waterloo.
For all orders that will require a Fork-lift, (Sterling Truck) an additional $50.00 charge will be added to your order.
For all other destinations please inquire for freight rates.
Damaged Goods
If you receive damaged goods, please follow these steps immediately after the damage is discovered:
1. Inspect all incoming shipments for any signs of damage. If damage is apparent, make the driver aware of the damage and make note of it on the paperwork that you sign.
2. Please call Investments Hardware Ltd. immediately—416-748-0204 ext 127. Hold original carton and merchandise for inspection. Do not discard any packaging. DO NOT return damaged goods to Investments Hardware Ltd. without authorization/RGA. DO NOT return goods that have not been inspected by Investments Hardware Ltd.
3. If a customer chooses the mode of shipping, prepaid and charge or collect the customer must take full responsibility for any damage incurred in shipping.
4. Investments Hardware Ltd. does not take responsibility for any damages when order is shipped by any freight carrier like Fed Ex, Purolator, UPS, etc.
We are willing to assist you in every possible manner, but please be aware that if you fail to follow the above procedure, your claim may not be honored by Investments Hardware Ltd.All terms and conditions are effective immediately. Investments Hardware Ltd. reserves the right to add, revise, or subtract from these terms and conditions.
cancellations
An ordering entity may request that Investments Hardware Ltd. accept return of merchandise already delivered. If the return or cancellation is required through no fault of Investments Hardware Ltd, then IHL will charge 15% (plus freight) of the original cost of the materials as a restocking charge or order cancellation fee. |
